What's New

Sign In and Your Commander

• Sign in with Apple to play. Your commander now belongs to your account, so the theatres you join are yours — and stay yours when you come back or switch devices.
• When you join a theatre you claim a commander. Once you've taken one, the other commanders in that game lock, so two people can never end up steering the same fleets.

Downtime Alerts

• Pausing a theatre is a shared decision, and now everyone is kept in the loop: whenever a commander proposes a pause or resume, seconds one, or withdraws it — and whenever a paused game comes back — every player is notified, both in the app and by push. You'll always know the moment the galaxy's clock stops or starts again.

A Simpler Map Editor

• Designing a galaxy is now direct and tactile: tap empty space to drop a star, tap a star to select it, and drag a star to move it — no tools to switch between.
• Stars snap neatly into place as you position them, and the selected star shows its starting range ring so you can judge reach while you design.
• Pan and pinch-zoom around your galaxy as you build, and load one of your saved maps back in to keep refining it.

Game Setup

• The New Game screen has a new advanced option: set how many ships each commander's home world starts with (250 by default). Dial it down for a tense, ship-starved opening or up for an all-out slugfest — it's the same for everyone, so the start stays fair.
