What's New

Set Up Games Right on Your Phone

• A new home screen greets you with three tabs — Join Game, New Game, and Map Editor — so you can do everything from your device. Tapping switch while in a game now brings you straight back to the Join Game tab.
• The New Game screen now offers the full set of options that used to be web-only: the galaxy style (Symmetric, Sym + scatter, or Random), how many stars each commander gets, the pace (game length and time compression), and deploying from a custom saved map.
• Pull down on the Join Game list to refresh it and pick up newly created theatres.

Custom Game Rules

• When you create a theatre you can now set the price of everything commanders buy — factories, the speed, range, and battle-power upgrades, spy probes, nova bombs, and both shields. Make nova bombs cheap for a demolition match, or factories pricey for a leaner economy.
• Pick any number of stars per commander, from a tiny duel to a sprawling galaxy, and set game lengths with decimals — a quick 1.5-hour session is now just as easy as a multi-day campaign.

Design Your Own Galaxies on Mobile

• The map editor has come to mobile. Place and drag stars by touch to build a custom galaxy, save it, and start games on your own designs.
• When you craft a fair "pie slice" map, the editor now zooms in on the single wedge you are shaping. New stars arrive with a random starting wealth so hand-built maps feel varied, and every star is given a unique name when the game begins — no more repeats across regions.
• Reopening a saved pie-slice map now brings it back as a single editable wedge, so you can keep refining one slice rather than the whole expanded galaxy.
